Real Madrid star ‘REJECTED a very attractive offer from Man City in the summer despite personal problems at LaLiga giants’

A Real Madrid star reportedly rejected the advances of Manchester City during the summer.

Relevo claim Brazilian forward Rodrygo was the player in question after impressing during Madrid’s stunning LaLiga and Champions league winning campaign.

Rodrygo contributed 18 goals and 9 nine goals in that campaign, often stepping up in big moments.

However, he was overshadowed by the likes of superstars Jude Bellingham and Vincius Jr.

Relevo added that Rodrygo’s perceived lack of public appreciation as well as ‘personal problems’ led to periods of frustration. 

He gave the offer from City plenty of consideration but ultimately decided to stay put and focus on success at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Rodrygo is believed to have been tempted by the advances of the Premier League giants 

Los Blancos also had no intention of letting him go and both parties were happy to continue their working relationship.

City ultimately brought in another winger in the form of fellow Brazilian Savinho but he is still yet to notch his first goal for the club.

Rodrygo’s future at Madrid was placed under further scrutiny following the arrival of Kylian Mbappe in the summer.

However, he has continued to feature regularly, contributing five goals and four assists in 20 games.
