Non-league player is SENT OFF for decking the goalkeeper after opposition humiliate him by playing piggy in the middle with the forward as fans hail ‘peak s***housery’
Folkestone Invicta striker Tom Derry was sent off in bizarre circumstances during a non-league clash on Saturday.
With the hosts 2-0 down against Billericay Town in an Isthmian Premier League clash, play was suspended as a player received medical treatment on the pitch.
Seemingly intent on getting the action back underway, Derry attempted to retrieve the ball whilst Billericay goalkeeper Sam Donkin performed kick-ups.
As Derry looked to grab the ball, Donkin and defender Matt Johnson engaged in an impromptu game of piggy in the middle, leaving an increasingly frustrated Derry stranded.
Derry then charged into the goalkeeper and knocked him to the ground before wrestling the ball out of his hands.
